Privacy Notice / 2026

Data in view

This notice explains the information involved in using these pages and the choices available to you.

Who to contact

JumbiScandiPuzzl is the independent educational publication at jumbiscandipuzzl.com. Send privacy questions or requests to [email protected], with “Privacy” in the subject. We do not require an account to read the site.

Browsing information

Delivering a website necessarily involves network information such as your IP address, requested resource, browser information and request time. The hosting infrastructure may record this information for delivery, security and troubleshooting. These static pages do not include an analytics library, advertising tracker, fingerprinting script or cross-site tracking pixel.

The supplied page code does not establish the hosting provider’s log-retention schedule. If you need information about a particular server record, contact us with the approximate request time and the nature of your request. Do not send identity documents unless a proportionate verification process is specifically necessary and explained.

The local contact composer

Typing into the composer does not transmit its fields to us. JavaScript constructs a plain-text draft in your browser. Copying writes that draft to your clipboard if you authorize or your browser permits the action. Downloading creates a text file on your device. The composer does not store your draft in localStorage or submit it to an endpoint.

Your browser may separately offer autofill or retain form values according to its settings. Clipboard contents can remain available after you leave, and downloaded files remain until you delete them. Avoid using a shared device for sensitive drafts.

Email correspondence

If you send an email, the address, name, message and any attachments you choose to include are processed to read, respond to and manage your enquiry. Email providers and their infrastructure also process correspondence. Do not send sensitive personal information or confidential test content.

Correspondence should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, necessary records, security or applicable legal obligations. These pages do not promise a fixed deletion period for every message. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, routine correspondence and site security may rely on legitimate interests; other obligations or consent may apply to particular processing.

Browser storage

The Cookie Choices page can save an essential-only preference under the key jumbiscandipuzzl-cookie-choice. This uses localStorage, not a cookie sent with requests. Saving is optional and occurs only when you use that page’s save control. You can remove the value there or clear site data in your browser. No puzzle scores or contact drafts are saved by these scripts.

Sharing and external destinations

These pages do not sell personal information or contain advertising integrations. Service providers may process information required to host the site or handle email. Information may also need to be disclosed where lawfully required or necessary to address abuse and protect legal rights.

External reference links lead to independent websites with their own notices. Following one sends a request to that destination. The page code does not embed external fonts, social widgets or third-party scripts.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and the applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, request portability, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis. You may also have a right to complain to a relevant supervisory authority. These rights have legal conditions and are not identical in every jurisdiction.

Email a specific request so it can be assessed. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request concerns your data. Browser-storage choices can be managed immediately through Cookie Choices.

Children and changes

The educational pages do not require a birth date or knowingly solicit children’s personal information. A parent or guardian concerned about information sent by a child can contact us. This notice may be revised when the site’s operation changes; revisit it before providing information if you need the current explanation.
